POPCORN!

We're having another stuck-at-home snow day, and the kids are enjoying a movie and popcorn. Of course, there is healthy and unhealthy popcorn, so it is important to read the labels! We really like Orville Redenbacher's Natural. It comes in several yummy flavors, and it is a whole grain food!

And no complaints from the peanut gallery...

P.S. Grayson is suffering from a major cowlick lately! LOL!

  1. We love popcorn! I make my own by getting a big pot, adding a couple of tablespoons of oil and a layer of kernels on the bottom of the pot...cook on medium heat until popped (about 5 minutes)...butter and salt to taste. It is very cheap, too!!! We love the Natural popcorn, too!

  2. I love my microwave corn popper. It takes the same amount of time as a bag of microwave popcorn and popcorn kernels are super cheap. I'm not claiming I do mine super healthy though. I melt a bunch of butter and load it on but some healthy people could use healthier toppings :)

  3. Beyond the blog, I've gotten many comments that I need to be popping my own. I'm on board, and I have kernels on my grocery list for Saturday. I'll be sure to blog about it! THANKS!!

  5. I use a hot air popper (about $20 at Wal-Mart) and then add a little melted butter and grated parmesan cheese to the popcorn. MMMMmmmmm
